iPhone Beer App: Beer Buddy – Barcode Scanner
Although Ratebeer.com did have an iPhone App it didn’t sync with your account online. Making it a pain to keep up to date with your beer information. When you start trying many beers it can be a daunting task to not repeat yourself. Beer Buddy – Barcode Scanner v. 1.5 not only syncs with your account online you can scan the barcode to enter brew. It also gives you a Places guide to search for more brew places to visit nearby.
This makes it an indispensable device while out and trying to decide what to bring home. You can also enter beer reviews from you device. If your a beer nerd like I am that uses Ratebeer.com you love this App. Thanks and Cheers!

Narragansett Porter Video review
I had originally checked this beer out in December 2010. Well with the cold weather making a return so is Narragansett's winter seasonal Porter offering. I was eager to try this years batch and I wasn’t disappointed. It still has that initial mild chocolate malt bitterness that soon mellows to a mild sweet finish. This year a made a video review of my experience and I hope you enjoy:

Update: Dog Tags found in VW
This is an update to the story of Chris Vallone of Classic VW Bugs of New York finding dog tags in a vintage VW Beetle he is restoring. Great job Chris!
Hi Neighbor!
I admit I’ve become a Narragansett Beer fan boy lately. Recently I’ve been sampling their Porter(which I’m sampling some now as I write this) which I’ve had a mixed relationship with. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked it but I still downed a six in a session at first. I sampled it later but wasn’t as fond of it. Lately I’ve been sampling some and loving it. It’s funny I still keep coming back to it. In between I’ve still been fond of the Lager which is definitely more tasty than your basic popular pale lager.
It’s funny how they keep coming up with recipes to add the Porter brew to. Here is the most recent one which they add it to beef stew. Long live Narragansett Porter!
